According to the book of Galatians in the Bible, the Fruits of the Spirit are character traits that should be present in the lives of each believer. These traits are proof that the Holy Spirit is at work inside of us, changing our hearts to make us more like God.
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance (patience), kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

Fun Crafts to Try
Paper Plate Fruit Basket: Color two paper plates brown like a basket. Cut one plate in half. Attach the two plates together at the edges with a piece of tape to make a basket. Draw pictures of fruits, cut out, and glue onto craft sticks. Put the fruits in the basket.
Craft Stick Fan: Lay out 10 craft sticks parallel to each other. Using glue sticks, glue a ribbon onto the end of the craft sticks. Write “Fruits of the Spirit” on the top craft stick and then write different fruits of the spirit on each stick. Fold up the fan, then unfold to practice memorizing the fruits.
Fruit of the Spirit Games
Fruit of the Spirit Bingo: Make a simple bingo card by drawing a grid and filling it with different fruits. For best results, try using both the names of the fruits of the spirit, as well as some actual fruits. This is a fun way for kids to memorize what the fruits are!

Older kids can be on the lookout for examples of the fruits in their own lives or in the lives of a family member. They can record their observations in a journal. This is a great way to help them remember to practice the fruits in their own lives too.
