12 Days of Christmas Math Games and Activities for Homeschoolers
Christmastime is always the time of year when I’m looking for something fun and different to do for a few weeks to celebrate the holidays in our homeschool. Maybe it’s the snow that falls all month around here, or the Christmas decorations that we already have up, or the fact that my daughter can’t stop singing “Jingle Bells.” Either way, we’re planning to harness all that Christmas excitement and use it to do all sorts of fun Christmas themed lessons during our homeschool time. So, during the month of December, I will be bringing you 12 Days of Christmas Math Games and Activities for Homeschoolers!
Here’s how it will work: Every weekday during the first half of December, I will be releasing a new set of Christmas math games and activities for you to use in your homeschool. Each activity will have a free printable that you can download so that you can follow along and do the activities with your kids. I’ll be sharing everything that you need to know to complete the lessons with your kids, including supply lists (nothing weird to buy, promise!), setup instructions, lesson plans, and printables.
I wrote these activities to be roughly appropriate for kindergarten or 1st grade. However, each lesson will also include adaptations to make it easier or harder so that kids who are a wider range of ages could do the lessons together.
