5 Tips for Choosing an Online Homeschool Vocabulary Curriculum

Each video lesson introduces a Latin word root and its corresponding Greek root as well. The video then introduces kids to a variety of words that use each of the Latin and the Greek root and explains each word’s meaning.

The videos are great for both visual and auditory learners, since they include both a spoken and a visual component.

In addition to the video lessons, Word Up! includes a variety of interactive quizzes. These quizzes enable children to practice the vocabulary in engaging ways. Quizzes are timed and scored, so kids can play multiple times to try to improve upon their previous score.
