I had a chance to interview Windy, the founder of iugo.world, before writing about the platform. I learned that she is an educator and a homeschool mom of two who spent time living with her family in Mexico. Unlike traditional homeschool co-ops or regional homeschooling groups that might be limited by location, iugo.world offers access to a variety of events in members’ geographical areas, including field trips, competitions, fairs, and more. While events are currently focused on California, iugo.world collects zip codes from new members and plans to extend its events database to include events in those areas as well.
