Because all of the videos are available on demand, kids can learn at their own pace. I love that my kids can fast-forward or skip a video if they already know a concept, or rewind to watch a section again if they get stuck.

My kids are beginner artists, but the pace of the beginner videos we’ve watched has been perfect for them. The artists in the video make the projects alongside my kids, so I just hit play and they watch the video while they create their projects.

It was so easy to add Sparketh into our homeschool curriculum and daily schedule. I love that this platform could be used either as a supplement to a different art curriculum or as a full curriculum in itself. The platform even offers “tracks,” which are groups of courses that are sequential or related by topic. Kids can sign up for the whole track of courses at once and Sparketh will automatically suggest a series of projects to complete in order. This would be a great option to use as a semester or year’s homeschool curriculum with no additional planning required!

Few Art Supplies Needed

One of my struggles with art in our homeschool has always been that I don’t seem to have the supplies we need to complete the projects. There is nothing that derails a lesson quicker than discovering that our kitchen table classroom doesn’t have the materials we need to do the projects.
